Faculty Development Program Trains 50 Educators on Modern Teaching Methods

The QCU Faculty Development Center recently conducted a two-week intensive training program on modern teaching methodologies, attended by 50 faculty members from various colleges. The training covered topics including blended learning, project-based learning, gamification in education, and the use of artificial intelligence in teaching.

The program was facilitated by internationally recognized education experts from the University of the Philippines and De La Salle University. Participants learned how to integrate technology effectively into their teaching practices and develop engaging learning experiences for students.

"Investing in our faculty is investing in our students," said Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Carlos Reyes. "This training ensures that our educators are equipped with the latest pedagogical approaches to deliver quality education."

Participants received certificates of completion and are expected to implement at least two innovative teaching strategies in their respective courses during the next academic term.
