College of Engineering Receives DOST Accreditation for Research Programs

The College of Engineering at QCU has received accreditation from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) for its research and development programs. This accreditation recognizes the college's contributions to scientific research and its commitment to advancing engineering knowledge in the Philippines.

Under the accreditation, the College of Engineering will receive funding for research projects focused on sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy, and disaster resilience. The college has already secured PHP 15 million in research grants for the current academic year.

Dean Fernando Martinez of the College of Engineering expressed his excitement about the accreditation. "This recognition validates our efforts to position QCU as a leading institution for engineering research. Our faculty and students will now have greater opportunities to contribute to national development through innovative research."

The college offers six engineering programs including Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering.
