QCU has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the prestigious Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan, opening doors for student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and collaborative academic programs. The partnership was formalized during a ceremony attended by officials from both institutions.
Under the agreement, selected QCU students will have the opportunity to spend one semester at Tokyo Tech, while Japanese students can experience studying at QCU. The partnership also includes provisions for joint supervision of graduate students and co-authoring of research publications.
"This partnership with Tokyo Institute of Technology is a significant milestone for QCU," said Dr. Santos. "It reflects our commitment to internationalization and our desire to provide our students with global learning experiences that will prepare them for the challenges of a connected world."
The first exchange program is expected to begin in the second semester of the current academic year.
